BIKE RACK
The bike rack is an adjustable accessory made for La Plaza Cultural community garden.
The objective of the project was to develop a tool for La
Plaza Community Garden, located in the East Village neighborhood of NYC. These tools could be for gathering, sitting, stacking, or storing.

As I started to observe and interview people in the garden, I detected that the majority of visitors who go to
relax, read, and interact go with their bikes. But the issue
was that there wasn’t a proper space or product to put
them, so they had to lean on the benches or on the floor
The bike rack is compatible with different benches that
are in the garden and it can be taken out for storage or
maintenance.

This product acts as a bridge to connect people within one bench; now they can share a product and seat next to each other without disturbance from their bikes.
