SCHOOLS -TO-GO
Schools-To-Go (originally ”Escuelas para Llevar”) is a thesis project that aims to create portable and economically accessible classrooms for children and adolescents in low-income communities.
The objective of this project was to work with three organizations, an institution, an NGO, and a company, to create a solution for a specific location in Pilar, Buenos Aires.

In Pilar, Buenos Aires, only 43% of children graduate from primary school, and the ones who do not meet the required levels. Likewise, as the country is facing an economic crisis, the State is not fully supporting the schools economically, so the infrastructure is poorly maintained.

The three modules (S,M and L) were designed for environmental adaptability and the needs of each client. Their structure is made of shipping containers combined with budget-conscious materials like OSB wood, polycarbonate, and steel frame to ensure durability and ease of assembly.
